August 22. 2013: I just rediscovered that Matthew Lingley had (together with a friend) translated the Class rules into english. You'll find them under "Rules".

February 15. 2013: It's silly to call it "News" when the last information is a few years old BUT there are actually things changing and being added in other parts of this website...

February 14.2008: 30sqm Seefahrtkreuzer „Suna“ III28 for sale:

Suna was built as „Aegir“ by Abeking & Rasmussen of Lemwerder in 1936 (Build.no.3005). Size and dimensions are typical of the class and yard. She is one of the “Windfall” Yachts that were brought to the UK after the war.

Chris Claydon is currently the majority shareholder in Suna. He no longer has enough time available to manage her and is looking for someone to take on a majority share or buy the boat.

Suna is currently afloat in Liverpool , UK and can be sailed in light weather. She needs a number of frames and a couple of planks to be replaced in order to be fully seaworthy, plus various smaller jobs. She also needs a new interior but is otherwise well equipped and ready to sail.

Further information, pictures and contact data- click here. Link to the boat's homepage: http://www.suna.org.uk

June.25.2007: The Website of the Seefahrtkreuzer Classes is back on Takel-Ing.de

November 2006: V 98 "Seebrise" was sold by it's british owner to a german owner who brought the boat from Brittany to Bremen by Trailer. He plans to restore her to sailing condition to have her back on the water in a few years. Congretulations and Good luck André! You can reach him at andre.bauer@nord-com.net

Sept.30.2005: The 50sqm. „Kuckuck“ is for sale:

Rich history, including Atlantic crossings etc. Very good condition, deck layout and interior are mostly original. The owner spent 250.000 Danish Crowns on the boat in the last years:

The stern was made new by Walsteds boatyard in Thuro, new engine Vetus 3 cyl. 25hp, new prop and shaft, new Ardic-heating, new propane stove, fridge 60 liters, new Navigator chart plotter, new TV and Hifi, 2 new roller furlers for the head sails, new upholstery in green velour. The teak deck seams have been newly sealed. Selfsteering equipment with remote control allows for passages sitting inside the doghouse.

The owner couple wants to buy a bigger Sparkman & Stevens Yacht, therefore selling “Kuckuck”. The boat is lying in Danmark (winter inside storage). Owner is asking 70.000 Euros. Contact: Lars Moeller, Riddersborgvej 3, 4900 Nakskov, Dänemark
